If you want to do well on Google’s search engine , having a high page rank (PR) is very important. I’m going to show you how to increase page rank for Google. I’ll give you a short version and a more detailed version, so you can decide what to read based on how experienced you are.

Firstly, I’ll give you the short version on how to increase page rank:

Backlinks, backlinks, BACKLINKS!

Did you get that?

If you don’t fully understand, don’t worry. Read this more detailed version on how to increase page rank instead:

Google doesn’t give out high PR like candy. In fact, it’s pretty tough to get a high PR. Google only gives a website a high PR if the website is popular. Did I happen to mention BackLinks? Well you need them..

The amount of websites that are linking to yours, directly relates to how high your PR is. A link from another website to your website is called a “Backlink”. Now, you have to understand this: Not every backlink is the same! Google looks at a couple of factors to determine how powerful a backlink is.

This is what a perfect backlink looks like:

– It is on a website that has a high page rank itself.
– The website that is being linked to, doesn’t link back.
– The link has the keyword phrase in the “anchor text”.
– The content of the website that is linking is relevant to the content of the website being linked to.

So, all you need is some backlinks that have the keyword phrase in the anchor text, put it on a relevant website with a high PR and not link to that website from your own site.

Here’s how to get those backlinks:

You see, what you are reading right now is called an “article”. This article is relevant to the content of my website and I submitted this article to an article directory that has a high PR. All I need to do now is to put in a link to my website with my keyword phrase in the anchor text and voila, I have a new backlink.

I write about 3 to 4 articles per day and I submit them to different directories. In just one month, I have over 100 high quality backlinks to my website! Of course, I also make sure that my articles are interesting enough to read, so I also gain traffic from people who click on my links.

So that’s all you really need to increase page rank for Google. Just get enough high quality backlinks. It may take you some time before you get the pagerank you want, but when you get it, your traffic will go through the roof and it will be more than worth it!
