Fender Mustang 3 Amplifier – In depth review with Damon from Fender UK at Nevada Music

Buy the Mustang amps here… The Fender Mustang III is a 100-watt open-backed combo with a 12″ Celestion speaker that utilises modeling software technology to re-create classic Fender, UK and other popular US amplifier models. It contains 100 amp presets derived from 12 different amp models, delivering tones from vintage Fender sparkle to contemporary metal distortion, and 37 different effects in four categories (stomp, modulation, delay and reverb) that can be accessed at the push of a button … With a power rating of 100 watts the Fender Mustang III covers pretty much all bases and is loud enough for rehearsals and gigs whilst the 1/8″ headphone input doubles as speaker-emulated line out. To further expand the possibilities of the Mustang III combo, connect it to your computer via the on-board USB port with the free Fender FUSE application software. Suddenly this opens up an entire world of possibilities, including on-screen parameter control, deep editing, additional effects, unlimited preset storage, online preset swapping with the Fender FUSE community, and free Fender artist presets. Mustang III’s included programmable two-button footswitch controls the preset up/down programme access, effects on/off and tap tempo (optional four-button footswitch also available). This is an amp that you need to hear to be able to appreciate just how good the software emulations are, the 100 watt rating will be loud enough for all but the biggest venues and

Nice Demo. One question, How fast does it change between presets and does it happen when you step down on the foot switch or on the release of the foot switch? Can I go from a clean preset to a dirty preset as fast? as just changing channels on a two channel amp? Thanks
